Lower back pain
Lower back pain is one of the most commonly treated conditions with acupuncture.
Whether acute or chronic, acupuncture can be extremely effective in providing natural pain relief.
Acupuncture and acupressure appear to invigorate blood flow in the lower back, relieving pain and spasm and reducing inflammation. Cupping is used to warm the blood and relax the muscles. It is common for bruising to occur after cupping, this is a normal reaction and nothing to be worried about. Bruising generally subsides within a few days.
Treatment time depends on the severity and history of the lower back issue. If there is an underlying imbalance in the body that is contributing to weakness and degeneration of the spine, Chinese herbs are used to nourish and strengthen the constitution.
